About us

Jeff and I landed in Canada as Permanent Residents in October 2007. Originally, we planned to move to Alberta, mainly because of the Rockies, but after a very brief trip to Nova Scotia, with only one day in Lunenburg, we decided to make that our new home. We rented a house for 6 months to give us time to look around, but still remained in love with Lunenburg. We bought a house in Lunenburg in June 2008 and I started this Blog in November 2008, to tell friends and relatives back home about our lives. Here you will find what we love and hate about Canada, our new activities and interests and places we visit. I hope you enjoy the visit. Please make comments on any of the articles.
